6:00 PM–9:00 PM

Spiral Music presents acoustic music every Wednesday evening at the base of the Museum’s spiral staircase. This week Tendor and Tenzin Choeying are invited to forge a connection between their music and the art in the galleries.

About the Musicians

Tendor is a Tibetan musician and songwriter born and raised in India. His first album, Logchopa, was released in 2007 to critical acclaim among his small circle of friends and a lukewarm reception by the larger public. His second album Ma~dro will be released in early 2017 if weather permits. His favorite instruments are dranyen, the traditional Tibetan lute, and acoustic guitar.

Tenzin Choeying is an accomplished guitarist and bassist and a founding member of the R Train Band. A graduate of the Tibetan Children’s Village, the elite boarding school in Dharamsala, Choeying trained as a classical musician in his formative years before picking up the guitar to join the timeless tradition of rebellion through music.
