Educator Open House

Educators who work with students of all ages are invited to discover the new exhibition Sacred Spaces and explore ways that the Rubin can connect with your curriculum. Learn how Sacred Spaces focuses on devotional activities in awe-inspiring places around the world, and in ways that encourage us to explore the sacred in our daily lives. Discover how landscape and geography can be sacred and explore the role of ritual. Through a lively discussion and gallery tours, discover how to help your students make deep and meaningful connections with Sacred Spaces.

Evening includes:

  • Sacred Spaces discussion led by Dominique Townsend, Assistant Director of Programming and Engagement
  • Curator-led customized tours
  • Delicious refreshments and snacks
  • Hands-on art-making opportunities
  • Meet and greet with Rubin Museum staff
  • Mingle with fellow educators
  • Stay for K2 Lounge at Café Serai immediately following the Open House
