Family Sundays

Ages 3 and up with accompanying adults.

 

Sundays are for families! Bring your family to the Museum for a Sunday afternoon full of family-friendly activities. Drop into the Education Center for some art-making, enjoy our 2 p.m. family exhibition tour, or go on your own thematic gallery search.


May Sundays: Origami!
Origami has long been thought to have many benefits ““ from aiding in hand-eye coordination to relaxing the mind. The exhibition Art with Benefits: The Drigung Tradition presents artworks that are thought to bestow “benefits” on the viewer just by looking at them. After a trip to the galleries, drop by the art studio to create your own “beneficial” origami.

*No program on 5/24 due to Memorial Day weekend

$5 per child; Adults pay regular admission; Free to children under 1 year and Free for Cool Culture.

 

Tickets may be purchased day of at the Museum admissions desk and starting at 1pm at the Education Center. Please call in advance if you are interested in bringing a group of 10 or more.
