Himalayan Heritage Meet-Up

Wednesday, September 2, 2015
6:30 PM–8:30 PM

Come celebrate Ganesha’s birth through art and dance. In September, throughout the Himalayas, people commemorate the elephant-headed deity. Our evening program will include a lively gallery tour looking at art depicting Ganesha in the galleries, followed by a performance of Dandiya dance from the Queens- based organization India Home, founded by community members to serve the South Asian elderly. Please note that the group will not meet on national holidays. For further information, please call (212) 620-5000 x233.
