Museum admission is free every Friday night from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. during K2 Friday Nights.
During K2 Friday Nights, Café Serai becomes the K2 Lounge, offering a special pan-Asian tapas menu to accompany the evening’s DJ and programs. About the DJ
$mall ¢hange (aka James Dier) is a musical addict who’s been collecting and DJ-ing for over 15 years and has tens of thousands of records in every conceivable genre and time period. $mall ¢hange has been involved with WFMU, the world renowned freeform station, for over a decade, plus regular sets on AOL’s dance station and Giant Step’s Jukebox.
He has also had one off shows for Dublab in LA, Tim Sweeney’s Beats in Space show, WPS1 (PS1″²s online station), East Village Radio, etc. $mall ¢hange has also been involved with the legendary Rubulad crew for over 8 years and played in every conceivable downtown NYC/BK venue you can think of such as APT, Nublu, Hiro, Supreme Trading, Cielo, and Pianos.
