June is Pride Month and the Rubin Museum is celebrating the LGBTQ community through an exploration of gender and expression in Himalayan art. The gender fluidity tour initiates a dialogue around the concepts of identity and attachment: what does it mean to define yourself in a specific way or as a specific gender, and what does it mean to relinquish attachment to that notion of identity?
