Scent of Summer

Essential Oils Workshop

Wednesday, June 22, 2016
6:00 PM–8:30 PM
Sold Out

Dive into the delights of scent by selecting oils that express what summer means to you. Inspired by Nepalese Seasons: Rain and Ritual, learn what essential oils are and how they work on the nervous system and trigger responses in the limbic system of the brain, the place that evokes emotions and memories. Guided by Sharon Slowik, an essential oil therapist, experience the essence of summer through discussion, a relaxation exercise, and by sampling a variety of aromas. You will create your own personal formula from several essential oils, such as lavender, vetivert, bergamot, basil, cedar, and lemongrass, among others, to take home and savor throughout the season.

About the Instructor

Sharon Slowik, a certified essential oil therapist and Founder of Liquid Amber Co., works with diverse clientele from children to elderly. She develops essential oil therapies to promote health and well-being by creating custom-blended formulas for personal use in the home and office.
