About the Speaker

Scott Treleaven is a painter and filmmaker. He has written extensively about the intersection of art, mysticism, sexuality, and marginal culture, and his influential zines from the 1990s are included in the book In Numbers: Serial Publications by Artists Since 1955. Recent exhibitions include Invisible-Exports, New York; 80WSE, New York; Contemporary Art Museum Houston; ICA Philadelphia; Palais de Tokyo, Paris; and the British Film Institute.

Admission to the Museum’s galleries is free every Friday from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. Tickets for the talk are free, but limited in availability and given away on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 5:45 p.m. Limit two tickets per person.
