About the Executive Producer ““ Morgan Spurlock

Morgan Spurlock is an American documentary filmmaker, humorist, television producer, screenwriter, and political activist, best known for the documentary film Super Size Me (2004), which earned him a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.

About the Director ““ Joshua Seftel

Joshua Seftel directed the feature film War Inc., starring John Cusack, Ben Kingsley, Joan Cusack, and Marisa Tomei, which had its premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival. Seftel began his career with an Emmy nomination for his first film: the award-winning Lost and Found, a documentary film about Romania’s orphaned and abandoned children. He followed this with many acclaimed independent films, including Taking on the Kennedys — one of TIME Magazine’s “ten best of the year” — Ennis’ Gift (HBO), The Home Team (SXSW 2014), and It’s the Hard Knock Life (PBS), which the New York Times called “delightful.” His stories have appeared on This American Life, and his essays have appeared on NPR, Salon.com, and CBS Sunday Morning.

About Mr. Toledano

Phillip Toledano was born in London to a French Moroccan mother, and an American father. He worked for several years in advertising as an art director before pursuing a career in photography. His work has been featured nationally and internationally, and has appeared in Vanity Fair, The New York Times magazine, The New Yorker, Esquire, GQ, Aperture, Wallpaper, Fast Company, The London Times, The Independent Magazine, Le Monde, and Interview, amongst others. He has published several photography books, including Days with My Father, which documents Toledano’s last few years with his elderly father, and Maybe, the collection of photos taken during the filming of The Many Sad Fates of Mr. Toledano.
