Corporate Retreat Menu
Offer your team relief from the pressures of daily life and give your colleagues the skills to improve concentration and overall relaxation in the workplace. For centuries, practitioners have meditated to quiet the mind, open the heart, calm the nervous system, and increase focus, and today scientists and business leaders have embraced meditation as a vital tool for brain health. (Meditation cushions provided. Guided group meditation can be scheduled during meeting room rental or in the galleries between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m., pending availability.)
Yoga can relieve stress, pain, and fatigue that often results from working long hours at the office. Bring your team together and balance out the workday with a guided group yoga session that focuses on intelligent vinyasa flow and/or restorative yoga. Classes are taught by a certified instructor from Namaste New York, and are appropriate for all experience levels and leave employees feeling strong, calm, energized, and focused. (Yoga mats provided)
Essential Oils Experience
Make way for new insights and inspiration as your team is introduced to customized essential oils specifically chosen based on a desired effect. Expert aromatherapist Sharon Slowik will incorporate relaxation and visualization exercises into the experience, as the essential oils are diffused throughout the room, allowing your team to experience therapeutic benefits: a shift in focus, calmed nerves, and a clear mind! (Oils provided. Takeaway gifts of additional essential oils available at an additional cost.)
Collaborative Art Making
Instructor Barbara Barry will lead participants in a hands-on painting project to provoke thoughtful insights, question previously held assumptions, and produce a common visual result. The art project is structured so everyone may take part no matter what level of art experience each brings to the table. Participants will build rapport and strengthen communication skills while gaining appreciation for unexpected talents in fellow team members. (all supplies included)
Gallery Tour & “Out-of-Office” Experience
Let us be your guide as we make connections between your team and the powerful deities depicted in the Rubin Museum’s collection. Before the tour each participant will complete a brief survey to identify individual workstyles. Next your guide will facilitate a tour of the collection that connects traits of key figures in Himalayan art with those of your team members. Learn about the art in the collection while also learning to appreciate the diverse attributes of your team members.
Coaching Sessions and Guided Meetings
Develop new skills and foster greater understanding with the guidance of certified coach Shana Lory. Take an important project to the next level with a session on creating a success mantra, bond as a team with a session on archetypes, or build a stronger organizational culture by taking inspiration from the art in the galleries.
