Tommy Yang Guo holds an M.A. in South Asian Art and Archaeology from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. He earned a post-graduate diploma with distinction in Asian Art in collaboration with the British Museum in 2006. He also holds an M.A. in finance from the Stuart School of Business, Illinois Institute of Technology. He has worked as a finance consultant with News Web Corp. in Chicago since 2001, and was the coordinator of the Clinton HIV/AIDS Initiative in China from 2004 to 2008. A life-member of Art Institute of Chicago, he has been a member of its Asian Art Council since 2008, and a member of its Committee of Ancient and Byzantine Art. He is an independent scholar and consultant, and advises public and private collectors in the United States and Asia.
