An aerial, theater and musical performance freely based on the letters from Galileo to his daughter. Galileo’s daughter Virginia, the fruit of an illicit liaison, was born in 1600. At the age of thirteen she entered into a convent where she was to remain for the rest of her short life. The letters include those written during the period when Galileo was being challenged by the Catholic church about his beliefs in the face of his scientific discoveries.
