Bind a Book!

Note: Because of the Labor Day holiday, the September 4 Family Sunday will not have drop-in art making with a teaching artist. Families will still be able to enjoy free admission in addition to a special activity pack.

Family Sundays are afternoons full of family-friendly activities, including art-making, a family exhibition tour, and a thematic gallery search.

September Sundays: Bind a Book

The traditions, stories, and holidays of Buddhism and many other religions come from important texts written many years ago. Books play an important role in spreading wisdom and teachings. Walk through the galleries and look for examples of Buddhist books before exploring your book-themed activity pack!
