Yoga Connections Tours

Public Tour

Wednesday, June 21, 2017
3:00 PM–4:00 PM

Happy International Yoga Day! Discover meaningful connections between the philosophy and practice of yoga and the Himalayan artworks in our galleries.

Yoga seeks to help people align their body and mind in order to transform their experience. Similarly, the art objects in our collection are intended for ritual purposes as well as aesthetic ones, seeking to link the worldly and the transcendent. This guided gallery tour will inspire conversation about yoga, its philosophies, and its visual representations.
