About the DJ

iBomba is Brooklyn-based DJ duo (DJ Beto & DJ Ushka), known for high energy, tag-team DJing that uplifts crowds with a genre-blending mix of digital cumbia, future dancehall, trini-soca, kuduro, afrobeat, baile-funk, bhangra bass, champeta, and juke. For over five years, iBomba has been at the forefront of pushing progressive club sounds from across the globe in New York City.

No throwbacks or middle-of-the-road crowd-pleasers—iBomba pushes for the newest in mash-ups, remixes, and sounds, creating a party that is as diverse and hybrid as its music. Beto and Ushka, who come from Mexican/Puerto Rican and Sri Lankan backgrounds respectively, use their own transnational experiences as a means to challenge people on dancefloors on what club music can be.
