This summer create art with a visual programming language while exploring Himalayan art and culture at the Rubin Museum, located in the heart of Chelsea.
At this interactive, hands-on program, you will study the math behind the “sacred geometry” of mandalas while learning to code with a professional graphics program. You’ll also meet like-minded teens who are passionate about art and its power to shape society.
No previous coding experience necessary!

Students in grades 9″“12 from NYC Title 1 Schools* are invited to apply to one of the Rubin’s 9-session summer art-and-coding labs.

Maximum capacity of fifteen students per lab.

*While all students are welcome to apply, preference will be given to teens enrolled in Department of Education Title 1 Schools
