Cocktails, art, and music make a heady mix at K2 Friday Nights. Café Serai becomes the K2 Lounge, offering a special pan-Asian menu to accompany the evening’s DJ. About the DJ

Aum Prakash (MEDISOUND) travels the world in search of divine connection and frequencies that move the spirit. He has cultivated a relationship with sound and shamanism since childhood, and his earliest memories are of making music and traveling to other dimensions through sound current. Inspired by the music that filled his youth—from classic rock to hip-hop to the West Coast and Hawaiian electronic music scene—he has studied classical guitar, ethnic percussion, sitar, overtones, Amazonian healing songs, and more. He lives on the Big Island of Hawaii with his wife and daughter and his musical co-creator, Tyler Gibson (Birds of Paradise). He plays numerous instruments and sings in many languages. In addition to creating and performing music, he loves sharing yoga, qigong, healing arts, and connecting with nature. Aum Prakash and Tyler Gibson are finishing their first EP under the MEDISOUND name, entitled So Blessed and set for release on Desert Trax in the near future.
