Art In/Out of Context

Can we truly understand a work of art once it has been taken out of its original context? How does our experience with a work of art change when it is surrounded by other objects from the same time and place?

In this collaboration with the Museum of Biblical Art (MOBIA), we will explore what it means to re-imagine original context for sacred art by visiting, Sculpture in the Age of Donatello at MOBIA and visit Becoming Another: The Power of Masks.
