Art Talk & Tour

Monday, October 1, 2018
1:30 PM–2:30 PM

Join us for an hour-long exploration of Himalayan art and culture where we will explore the roots of Tibetan Buddhist astrology, identify your zodiac animal, and learn about the role of astrology in Tibetan Medicine. The program begins with a talk in the theater and ends with a gallery tour, both led by Rubin Museum docent Denise Murphy, RN, PhD.

This monthly program is part of the Rubin’s Senior Mondays, when adults 65 and older receive free admission to the galleries.

Senior Mondays are supported in part by the Milton & Sally Avery Arts Foundation.
