“I’ve always been spiritual but I’ve never had a proper context, and it took me awhile to find the proper context. It’s hard to realize you can have any kind of relationship with God you want… and so I now have a punk rock relationship with God.”
As the vocalist, lead guitarist and songwriter for The Smashing Pumpkins, Billy Corgan has established himself as one of the most compelling figures in rock music. As a writer, producer, player and singer, he’s contributed to recordings by Cheap Trick, Ric Ocasek, New Order and Hole, among others. In 2004, he published Blinking with Fists, a book of poetry that debuted on The New York Times Best Seller list.
Morgan Stebbins, MDiv, LMSW, studied comparative religion at UC Berkeley where he was also a member of the San Francisco Zen Center sangha. He received his divinity degree from Union Seminary and social work degree from Columbia, before training in Jungian psychoanalysis at the New York Jung Institute. He has a private practice in New York and is a faculty member and Director of Training of the Jungian Psychoanalytic Institute.
