Sunday, July 29, 2018
12:00 PM–1:00 PM
“Camouflage: the disguising of military personnel, equipment, and installations by painting or covering them to make them blend in with their surroundings.” Just as camouflage is a key aspect of field craft for the soldier, Himalayan artists included hidden meanings and symbols within their artworks to reveal secret teachings for highly trained practitioners. Uncover hidden secrets in artworks and decipher the mystery terma, hidden teachings for future generations of Tibetan Buddhists.
