Arriving in NYC at the age of 19, Fuchs has played the title role of Janis Joplin in the Off-Broadway musical hitLove, Janis, and “Sadie” in Julie Taymo’s critically acclaimed film Across The Universe. Perhaps Stereophile Magazine said it best: “imagine a sultry, more emotive Janis Joplin, backed by a higher energy version of the late 60’s Rolling Stones…Rock n’ Roll doesn’t get any better.”
