Elizabeth Cook

Naked Soul

Friday, July 26, 2019
7:00 PM–8:30 PM

Nashville-based singer-songwriter Elizabeth Cook is a critically acclaimed recording artist and performer, lauded by the New York Times as “a sharp and surprising country singer.” On SiriusXM Outlaw Country Radio, she has hosted her own show, Apron Strings, nationwide for the last 10 years. She is also a favorite of David Letterman, a regular performer on the Grand Ole Opry, and a frequent guest star on Adult Swim’s long-running hit cartoon series Squidbillies on the Cartoon Network.

In the words of the Drivin’ and Cryin’s legendary Kevn Kinney, “Elizabeth is so far ahead and under the radar you better have a supercharger for that fastback if you’re going to catch up! Enjoy the ride.”

About Naked Soul

Naked Soul presents performances from some of the country’s top singer/songwriters without microphones or amplifiers, as if the music were, acoustically speaking, naked. The musicians in the series draw upon the universal themes inherent in Himalayan art—spirituality, peace, tolerance, wisdom, compassion—on select Friday evenings.
