Empowering Caregivers Online

Mindful Looking, Conversation, and Community

Monday, December 7, 2020
5:30 PM–6:30 PM

Caregiving for a loved one living with Alzheimer’s or dementia can leave you feeling powerless, faced with constant responsibilities and limited personal freedom. Even professional caregivers experience stress and burnout. How can you find empowerment amid these challenges?

At this program designed specifically for caregivers, we invite participants to examine the power dynamics in their lives and open their minds to a different understanding of their own agency. The program, led by trained Rubin docents, explores how contemporary and traditional Buddhist artworks can show new perspectives and pathways to empowerment.

This event is intended for caregivers and not for persons with dementia.
