Finding Saraswati

Saraswati is the Hindu Goddess of creativity and knowledge. How can you access your Saraswati energy? In this painting workshop, artist Jaiya Bhandari will help you discover tools that allow creative energy to infiltrate the many moving parts of your professional and personal lives. Along with sharing exercises she uses to tap into her creativity on a daily basis, Jaiya will share her personal approach to painting.

With these tools, you will practice exercises as a group and spend time painting a canvas from still life options provided.

All levels are welcome.

Materials will be included. If you would like to bring your own acrylic paints and brushes, you are welcome to do so!

About the Presenter

As a philanthropist, portrait artist and workshop designer Jaiya Bhandari combines intuitive guidance, ancient meditation techniques and creative energy in her teachings and artwork. Both her classes and paintings are weaved with the mindful wisdom of her Hindu heritage and her desire to guide people in finding their individual expression and inner child. Jaiya’s workshops span community engagement projects for homeless shelters, women’s empowerment and finding creativity in the professional world. As a finance manager for deprived schools in the U.K. Jaiya brings a grounded yet soft approach to all that she does, inviting you to engage from the inside out.
