Tuvan Shamanic Divination and Prophecy

with ChokBar and A.T. Mann

Wednesday, July 25, 2018
7:00 PM–8:30 PM

How can shamanic prophecy and divination reveal, underline, shape, and assist us in creating ourselves, now and in the future? Returning to the Rubin is ChokBar, a shamaness from Tuva in the southern region of Siberia. She will lead an opening meditation followed by an onstage conversation and Q&A with astrologer and author A.T. Mann. Following the talk, the audience will be guided in a vocal toning exercise and a shamanic meditation with drumming by ChokBar to experience the state of consciousness needed for divination.

Please bring an offering! Workshop participants are asked to bring an offering of one or more of the following for a ritual guided by ChokBar: flowers, milk, white sugar, white rice, cheese, strong black tea, chocolate in shiny wrapping, carrots, cookies.

If you would like to learn more about Tibetan Buddhist astrology and divination, join the preshow gallery tour, featuring the illuminated manuscript the White Beryl.

About the Speakers

Larisa Koronowski (ChokBar) had a mystical experience of light entering her body during meditation, after which she was able to assist people in healing. Despite coming from a long line of shamanic healers, she long resisted the calling, taking up jobs as a German language teacher and then as an interpreter at the Government of the Republic of Tuva at the Ministry of National Policy. Over the last 15 years she went through a deep transformation of consciousness with the assistance of the Spirits of her Ancestors and was transformed into a native Tuvan hereditary shamaness named ChokBar. She does one-on-one sessions, workshops, seminars, lectures, and shamanic circles in the United States and abroad.

A.T. Mann is an astrologer, architect, artist, and author. He has lived in Europe for 28 years and written or co-written over 20 books on astrology, calendar systems, sacred architecture, sacred gardens, sacred trees, psychology, sacred sexuality, healing, tarot, prophecy, and reincarnation.

His unique Life Time Astrology system is influenced by Tibetan Buddhist principles. A member of the International Society of Astrological Research and the Forum for Architecture, Culture, and Spirituality, he teaches and lectures around the world. He is currently writing “The Serpent’s Dream: Symbols of the Divine Feminine and Women’s Power.”
