Sundays are for families! Bring your family to the Rubin Museum for a Sunday afternoon of activities both kids and grownups will enjoy. Drop into the Education Center for some art-making, enjoy our 2:00 p.m. family exhibition tour, and go on your own thematic gallery search.
July Sundays: Inner Voyages
Embark on a journey without leaving New York! Get inspired by artists Ghiora Aharoni and Arthur Liou, whose video artworks at the Rubin depict their long pilgrimages (respectively) riding on rickshaws and walking 21,000 feet up Mount Kailash. At June Family Sundays, envision a person, place, or time you would like to visit and map the journey you would take to get there. Challenge yourself to design a map both colorful and layered that symbolizes your inner voyage.
Family Sundays are made possible by New York Life. Additional support has been provided by Agnes Gund, Con Edison, and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council.
Free for children and accompanying adults
