Many healing practitioners, from doctors to massage therapists to veterinarians, use singing bowls as part of their practice. In this hands-on course, master singing bowl practitioner Suren Shrestha gives an introductory lesson in how to play Himalayan Singing Bowls for sound & vibrational healing for one’s clients or one’s self. He will teach participants to effectively use a bowl’s unique tone and positioning to play a variety of sounds out of just one bowl. Suren will also discuss the history and lineage of the sacred bowls, craftsmanship, and discuss the variety of bowls available. Students will learn techniques for rubbing, striking and playing bowls and Tingsha.

“Suren Shrestha teaches the how-to’s, but more importantly, he teaches by example that the path of healing is a journey of humility, generosity, joy, and love.” — Guru Bachan Kaur

Limited to 24 people. No experience necessary. This workshop is geared toward practitioners but all are welcome.
