“It can be put this way. If I allow all things to vanish, then according to Newton the Galilean inertial space remains; following my interpretation, however, nothing remains.” –Albert Einstein
Regarded as “one of the most promising theoretical physicists of her generation,” Lisa Randall, author of Warped Passages: Unravelling the Mysteries of the Universe’s Hidden Dimensions, will share the stage with Christopher Potter, author of You Are Here: A Portable History of the Universe, to explore the mysteries of the void. Randall is the first tenured woman in the Princeton Physics Department and the first tenured woman theoretical physicist at MIT and Harvard.
