Meredith Monk is a composer, singer, and creator of new opera and music theater works. She has received numerous awards, including a MacArthur Fellowship, two Guggenheim Fellowships, the 2005 ASCAP Concert Music Award, and was inducted into the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2006. Her 2008 CD, impermanence, was nominated for a Grammy and her latest music theater work, Songs of Ascension, premiered at Stanford University in October 2008 and was performed at Brooklyn Academy of Music in October 2009. www.meredithmonk.org
Morgan Stebbins, MDiv, LMSW, studied comparative religion at UC Berkeley where he was also a member of the San Francisco Zen Center sangha. He received his divinity degree from Union Seminary and social work degree from Columbia, before training in Jungian psychoanalysis at the New York Jung Institute. He has a private practice in New York and is a faculty member and Director of Training of the Jungian Psychoanalytic Association.
