Experience our collection in a new way with dynamic tours led by college-aged apprentice museum educators and student docents.
About the docents
Alexandra Seneca is a senior at New York University studying Art History and Religious Studies. She has been with the Rubin since 2014, when she joined the College Committee and expanded her involvement through our Docent Program. You can find Alex leading tours at 7 p.m. on Friday nights. Next fall she will be attending Sotheby’s Institute of Art for a Master’s degree in Art Business.
Camila Cury is an undergraduate student at New York University majoring in Media, Culture, and Communications with a minor in Art History. She hopes to pursue a Masters and career in Arts Administration.
Hannah Hume has a background in Anthropology and Archaeology, and an MA in Art History and Archaeology with a focus on Asian Art. She has been a College Committee member for three years, and is currently a Museum Studies graduate student at New York University.
Maggie Woolums graduated from the Manhattan School of Music studying opera. She studied how different organizations make visual art and music accessible to the public and looks forward to gaining experience in events production and stage management.
Maria Rivas is a senior at Brooklyn College studying Art History. She enjoys watching movies, playing music, fighting for social justice, dismantling the patriarchy, and visiting art museums across NYC. She’s been in love with the Rubin since she participated in her first teen program in 2011 and is delighted to have come of age among the museum’s beautiful art.
