Virtual Tour with Mandala Lab Designers

Sunday, October 17, 2021
1:00 PM–1:45 PM

The Rubin Museum is excited to present a behind-the-scenes tour of our new Mandala Lab installation in celebration of Open House New York weekend. This virtual tour will feature members of the design team from Brooklyn-based design studio Peterson Rich Office, who designed the Rubin Museum’s newest space, the Mandala Lab. They’ll discuss the unique experience of transposing the visually and symbolically rich concept of a mandala into the physical structure of a contemporary museum. Join us to learn more about the inspiration behind the Mandala Lab’s interactive installations and emotionally engaging artworks, followed by a Q&A session with the designers.
