Poetry and Yoga

Sunday, May 1, 2011
11:00 AM–11:30 AM
Free

Taught and curated by Elena Brower, founder of Virayoga
Featuring PEN poets Agi Mishiol, Andrezej Sosnowski, Pia Tafdrop, Viktro Ivanov, and others.
For the first time in PEN history, poets will share their space with movement. Bringing poetry in closer, intentional proximity to spirit, this yoga class, taught and curated by Virayoga founder Elena Brower (pictured aboved), places participants among the whispers of the art of language, and in the Rubin Museum’s inspiring setting.
Stationed throughout the class, poets will offer their work and voices to elevate us all. Admission includes a free guided tour of the Rubin Museum of Art’s galleries following class.
Participants should bring their own yoga mats and water bottles.
