Ralph Fiennes on Shakespeare

The Rubin Museum of Art and The Shakespeare Society present an evening to celebrate the classical career of Ralph Fiennes as he receives The Shakespeare Society Medal. Mr. Fiennes will talk with Time Out New York theater editor David Cote about his interpretations of Shakespeare as an actor, and as a director of the forthcoming film Coriolanus.
The evening also provides a context for the forthcoming theatrical release of Chinese director Sherwood Hu’s high-altitude Hamlet, Prince of the Himalayas, which opens here at the Rubin Museum for a limited run December 23 – January 14.
Proceeds from this event will help support the many artistic and educational programs of The Shakespeare Society (www.shakespearesociety.org) and the Rubin Museum of Art.
