Smithsonian Museum Day: Museum Highlights Tour

Celebrate Museum Day Live!, hosted by Smithsonian magazine, with a trip to the Rubin! At noon we’re offering a special guided tour of the galleries with a focus on masterpieces of Buddhist and Hindu artwork from the Himalayan region.

The Rubin is opening its doors for free on September 23 with advance registration on Smithsonian magazine the website. The tour is included free with admission.

Additional tours will be held at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

About the Event

Museum Day Live! is an annual celebration of boundless curiosity hosted by Smithsonian magazine. Participating museums and cultural institutions across the country provide entry to anyone presenting a Museum Day Live! ticket.

Tickets will be available to download on August 25, 2017. Each ticket provides free admission for two people.
