Clapping with Stones: Art and Acts of Resistance

Wednesday, September 4, 2019
6:00 PM–7:00 PM

What does resistance mean to you? How can non-conformity be a source of power? Join us on a special tour of the exhibition Clapping with Stones: Art and Acts of Resistance, where you’ll take a close look at the work of 10 contemporary artists from around the world who are making open-ended calls to action.

In discussion with an expert guide and fellow art lovers, you’ll gain a fresh perspective on urgent social and political questions—and your own power to address them.

Clapping with Stones: Art and Acts of Resistance is supported by Rasika and Girish Reddy, Basha Frost Rubin and Scott Grinsell, the Jacques and Natasha Gelman Foundation, anonymous, Akhoury Foundation, Preethi Krishna and Ram Sundaram, and Sonny and Gita Mehta.
