About the Musicians
Tenzin Choeyang (guitar) is a student at Forest Hills High School and the Tibetan School of New York and New Jersey. She has had a passion for Tibetan music since childhood and has participated in many music and dance competitions. Tenzin is a student of Sonam Lhamo and studies singing and playing traditional Tibetan instruments.
At the age of ten, Tenzin Dolma (lute) taught herself to play the Tibetan lute and hammered dulcimer. She developed a passion for music and was influenced by the classical and popular Tibetan music her parents played.
