Interweaving contemporary sonic experiences with historical art from the collection, the World Is Sound exhibition employs sound art to deepen our understanding of Tibetan Buddhist philosophy and practice. These exhibition tours will focus the importance of sound in Buddhist and Hindu traditions. Learn to listen with your entire being as you explore new commissions of contemporary sound art and objects from our collection.
This exhibition is made possible through the generosity of HARMAN. Additional support provided by contributors to the 2017 Exhibitions Fund.
