Tibetan Medicine and Art explores Tibetan medicine, its relationship to Western medicine, and how medical concepts are expressed in the art of the Himalayan region, as displayed in the Blue Beryl Thangkas, a 17th-century series of medical paintings based on a text of the same name. The program is free with museum admission. It includes a slide presentation in the museum theater and a short tour on the gallery floors.
