Culture Pass and the Rubin Museum invite adults 65+ to reflect on ideas of the self and what it means to be truly awake. Learn about buddhas, mandalas, wrathful deities and how they support the path to enlightenment in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. Get a peek inside the gallery, see up-close details of the artworks in Awaken: A Tibetan Buddhist Journey Toward Enlightenment, and learn tips for visiting the galleries in person! Closed captioning will be available.

Awaken: A Tibetan Journey Toward Enlightenment is supported by the Ellen Bayard Weedon Foundation, The Prospect Hill Foundation, Bob and Lois Baylis, public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council, and by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M.
