At times, power can seem fleeting and illusory. Other times, it feels oppressive and overwhelming. Power is intertwined with our intentions, relationships, karma, and other ideas depicted in art from the Himalayas.

As part of our yearlong theme, this Museum-wide tour series connects different aspects of power to art in the galleries. From traditional Tibetan paintings to contemporary interactive installations, these tours highlight the many ways power exists within and between us.
