Senior Thursday Virtual Tour and Meditation

Journey Inside the Mandala

Thursday, July 1, 2021
11:30 AM–12:15 PM

What is the most important journey we take in life and how do we find our way? In this final session of the Awaken Virtual Senior Tour Series, we step inside the mandala. Learn about the architecture and iconography of the mandala and its role in meditation.

During this 45-minute virtual tour we’ll journey inside the mandalas of Awaken: A Tibetan Buddhist Journey Toward Enlightenment and reflect on our own life journeys. The tour will conclude with a brief meditation led by Rubin Museum staff.

Senior Day is supported by the Robert H. N. Ho Family Foundation.
