Movement is all around us! If you look closely, you’ll even find movement in the artworks at the Rubin Museum ““ from Dancing Ganesha and Durga the warrior goddess to the famous Cham dancers of Tibet.

In July, Family Art Lab took families on a journey through the Museum as we discovered more about the artworks and the stories behind their dynamic movements. After learning about movements in the artworks, we joined yoga and meditation expert, Ralph De La Rosa, for a movement session inspired by the lotus and warrior poses we saw.
