Spiral Lobby

  • Can be used in conjunction with the Colonnade
  • Design highlights include copper Cloud Wall designed by Milton Glaser; rotating artworks on display from the Museum’s permanent collection; and a dramatic architectural setting featuring theiconic spiral staircase
  • Natural light from the Museum’s front entrance and skylight above
  • Available all day on Tuesday and Wednesday and before or after Museum public hours all other days
  • Ramp access for load-in/out via delivery entrance

Art Galleries

  • Active gallery spaces featuring the Museum’s permanent collection of art from Himalayan regions
  • Each gallery surrounds the central spiral staircase
