Ari Hest

Ari Hest, with mesmerizing guitar licks and smoky vocals can sound vulnerable, formidable, angry, and hopeful, all with a sense of honesty and passion that is rarely found. Over his fifteen-year career Hest has released more than a dozen albums. He is half of the folk-pop duo The Open Sea with Rosi Golan and half of the Brazilian music”“inspired pop duo Bluebirds of Paradise. His music has been featured in The Lincoln Lawyer (“Now”) as well as the television shows Private Practice, Army Wives, and One Tree Hill. Throughout his career he has toured worldwide, sharing the stage with the likes of Sheryl Crow, Judy Collins, Suzanne Vega, and others.
