Tulsi Gabbard + Chandrika Tandon

Women in leadership on creating change

Friday, November 16, 2018
7:00 PM–8:30 PM

Tulsi Gabbard—the first Hindu to be elected to Congress, representing Hawaii’s second district since 2013—joins in conversation with Chandrika Tandon, a Grammy-nominated artist, humanitarian, and business leader. Their discussion will center on what values and insights our society needs to adopt in forging social and environmental policy for a sustainable future.

I chose to take the oath of office with my personal copy of the Bhagavad Gita because its teachings have inspired me to be a servant-leader, dedicating my life in the service of others and to my country. —Tulsi Gabbard
