St. Luke’s Chamber Ensemble

Till Eulenspiegel

Saturday, October 3, 2015
5:00 PM–6:00 PM

The repercussions of our actions are on display in Richard Strauss’s tone poem Till Eulenspiegel’s Merry Pranks, which will be performed by the Grammy Award-winning St. Luke’s Chamber Ensemble as part of its Subway Series stop in Manhattan. Hear an octet of St. Luke’s virtuoso musicians play music for winds and strings by Strauss as well as Beethoven and Nielsen in a free, one-hour concert.

Grab a bite to eat while you’re at the Museum and treat yourself to a gourmet ice cream sandwich for dessert. Melt Bakery will sell their unique and delicious ice cream inventions on the street before and after the performance.

Make a difference in your community and bring art supplies to donate to the Subway Series partner Cool Culture, which provides arts access to under-served families with preschool children. If you’re not sure what to bring, you can review Cool Culture’s donation guidelines at OSLmusic.org/SubwaySeries.

Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
