College Committee

The College Committee is on pause for 2020 and will resume in fall 2021. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, but we will not start contacting applicants until summer 2021.

Do you love going to museums? Would you like to be a museum insider, planning events and enjoying behind-the-scenes access? Are you interested in working at a museum but not sure where to start? If so, then the Rubin Museum of Art’s College Committee is for you.

We are seeking dynamic and dedicated college students to serve as volunteers for the College Committee. Working closely with Rubin Museum staff, committee members will have monthly meetings at the Museum to develop college meetups and other activities.

As a College Committee member you will have the opportunity to meet Rubin Museum staff, learn about the Museum’s permanent collection and special exhibitions, plan social events, connect with other students and college clubs, enjoy art-making projects, and more.
