The University Partnership Program at the Rubin Museum provides exciting opportunities for academic communities to access the traditional arts and cultures of the Himalayan region while making creative connections to other world cultures. The Rubin is home to a comprehensive collection of Himalayan art with exhibitions that span traditional and contemporary art.

Students, faculty, and staff of participating Universities are granted free individual admission for the academic year with a valid school ID. For faculty members who would like to bring their students for a tour, University Partners are entitled to a reduced fee of $7/student for a one-hour guided tour. Self-guided tours are free, but must be reserved in advance. Reservations must be made two weeks in advance.

University Partner faculty members may also schedule a phone consultation with a Museum educator, who will help them develop curricular connections inspired by the collections and special exhibitions before their visit.
