During K2 Friday Nights, Café Serai becomes the K2 Lounge, offering a special pan-Asian tapas menu to accompany the evening’s DJ and programs. About the DJ

DJ Ripley has torn up dance floors across nineteen countries and three continents since 1995. Unleashing bass frequencies at a revolutionary volume in town squares, warehouses, ships, clubs, squats, community centers, and activist spaces, her wide-ranging sets unseat musical and social preconceptions and build audiences into frenzied, dance-crazed masses. She also lays down sweet paths through the deeper reaches of far-flung communities and local mysteries in atmospheric dub-downtempo explorations. She defines her musical project as “transforming bodies on the dance floor into a collective mind thinking a new future.”
